ABABABA TOUR STORE FINALLY SET TO OPEN!!!
Abababa proudly announces the long awaited GRAND OPENING of The Abababa Tour Store on April 15th, 2007, a web based resource for all things ABABABA! Initially we are offering T-Shirts and mugs with the Abababa logo and phrases such as, "HELLS WITH YOU" and "THINK EASY?!?!" Eventually more merchandise will become available online. Watch for more details!
ABABABA DVD CURRENTLY IN PRODUCTION!
After literally thousands of requests for a DVD version of the original Abababa Road Tour, Abababa announces production of a DVD which will feature both live and studio performances of his classic tales. "I have resisted producing a video or DVD in the past because I preferred the intimacy of live performances, but after two years I think its time."
ABABABA FEVER SPREADS OVERSEAS!
Further evidence that Abababa's tales cross all language and cultural barriers has come in the form of two formal requests for performances in London and Ireland in 2007!!! Abababa is currently negotiating with two large Deaf agencies to work out scheduling, issues of language and interpretation. It's possible that "The Abababa WORLD Tour" might kick off as early as fall 2007! Watch for more details!
ABABABA PROUDLY KICKS OFF THIRD YEAR OF ROAD TOUR WITH PERFORMANCE IN ANCHORAGE, ALASKA! ANNOUNCES PLANS TO TAKE TOUR INTERNATIONAL!
After two years of performing to sold-out audiences and rave reviews from Deaf and hearing alike, Alan R. Abarbanell-ABABABA-has announced plans to appear at the University of Alaska to kick off the third hilarious year of his comedy tour, chronicling the experiences of growing up hearing with Deaf parents. "It's the furthest I have ever traveled with the Tour and I am tremendously proud and excited to be sharing my stories with the Deaf and hearing communities in Alaska!" The University of Alaska will be celebrating Deaf Awareness week on campus and all the activities will culminate with a special Abababa performance on September 28, 2006.
